The Reviewers:
Di Poole is gallery manager at Atlas. The gallery deals purely in photography, specializing in classic twentieth century vintage photography, photo-journalism and fashion. In addition, Atlas represents work by a number of influential contemporary photographers such as Antoine D'Agata, Jim Goldberg, Trent Parke and Floris Neussus. Prior to Atlas, Di managed the photography at Flowers gallery, working with Edward Burtynsky and Robert Polidori. She curated 'the living is easy: international contemporary photography' at Flowers East, August 2006.
Diana Ewer is a Director of TAG Fine Arts, a young North London gallery focused on representing emerging artists. She graduated from Manchester in Art History and went on to a Masters at the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2004. She worked at the Mayor Gallery in Cork Street for two years, before setting up and running a contemporary gallery in Islington. She is particularly interested in working with emerging artists and curating London centric exhibitions in 'alternative spaces' for example; Giancarlo Neri's 'The Writer' a table and chair sculpture installed on Hampstead Heath and Stephen Walter's 'The Island London Map Series' originally exhibited at St Pancras Crypt Church, Euston Road.
Katy Barron is the Artists’ Programme Manager at Ben Uri and a dealer and curator of contemporary photography. She works partly at Purdy Hicks Gallery where she looks after a number of international photographers including Susan Derges and Chan-Hyo Bae. Katy has curated a number of photography shows including exhibitions at the Lianzhou Photography Festival in China, where her show by Nadav Kander won the festival Silver Medal. She is a regular at photography portfolio reviews and one of the judges of this year’s new Rhubarb Rhubarb photography bursary.
