This exhibition catalogue accompanied Project 3, which was the third installment in a series of ground-breaking exhibitions of monumental paintings by artist David Breuer-Weil. The project was executed between 2003 and 2007 and was first exhibited in a disused art deco building in Covent Garden under the auspices of the Ben Uri. The paintings and drawings that make up this ongoing series are characterised by the endlessly fertile imagination with which the artist explores some of the most compelling contemporary issues whilst addressing timeless subjects. Project 1 took place at the Roundhouse in 2001 and Project 2 at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf in 2003.
