“a colossal talent… It is difficult to think of any series of contemporary British paintings more ambitious in form and content than Breuer-Weil’s Project”
John Russell Taylor, The Times
This richly illustrated hardback is the third in a series by Breuer-Weil featuring an exhibition of 50 monumental paintings. His works’ uniqueness have established him as one of the most significant painters of his generation, contributing to the history of British and international figurative painting.
The works in Project 3 are characterised by the endless imagination with which the artist explores compelling contemporary issues whilst addressing timeless subjects.
The exhibition in which this book is based took place in an NCP car park in Covent Garden, curated by Ben Hanly and in partnership with Ben Uri Gallery and Museum.
David Breuer-Weil has also exhibited at Sotheby’s, Chatsworth House, Bad Homberg in Germany, and his most recent work, Brothers, can be found in Marble Arch, London.
